Ardina Ferdous earned silver in 10-m air pistol shooting

Bangladeshi shooter Ardina Ferdous earned 234.6 point silver medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol competition at the Satdobato Shooting Range in Nepalese city Lalitpur at the 13th South Asian Games.

India's Shri Nivetha Parmanathan bagged a 238.4 gold medal and Pakistan's Anna Ibtisam bagged a 214.9 point bronze medal.

The women's shooting team in Bangladesh consists of Ardina Ferdous, Anjila Amjad Antu and Nilufa Yesmin, who won the bronze medal earning 1655 points in the 10-meter women's air pistol event.

Earlier, Bangladeshi famed shooter Abdullah Hel Baki bagged bronze medal in men’s 10-metre air pistol and Bangladesh men’s shooting team comprises Abdullah Hel Baki, Rabbi Hasan Munna and Robiul Islam secured bronze in men’s 10-metre air pistol.  

Another Bangladesh men’s shooting team comprises Abdullah Hel Baki, Md Shovan Chowdhury and Md Yusuf Ali secured silver in the men’s 50-metre rifle 3 position team.
