Second day of Dhaka Lit Fest begins on a spiritual note

The second day of the Dhaka Lit Fest 2018 began with a sombre session of Kirtan songs, devotional music dedicated to Krishna, performed by Probhati Kirtan from Rajarhaat, Kurigram. Members of the Probhati Kirtan, Kripa Shindhu Sarker and Sunil Chandra Roy performed songs with the accompaniment of flutes, tabla and other traditional instruments. 

The second day began at 9:15am on Friday at Bangla Academy premises, and sessions will run until 7:30pm.

The day's sessions include "Last and First Men" by British actress Tilda Swinton at 2pm, "Women and Wit" by popular Bangladeshi YouTuber Raba Khan at 3:15pm and a circus show by New Shonar Bangla Circus ft. Propar Ripon at 6:15pm.

Online registration is now closed, but visitors can register at the booth on site next to the entrance.
