Girls outshine boys in JSC, JDC exams

In this year's Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exams, girls performed better than boys.

Females students pass rate is 88.64 percent, while boys  pass rate is 87.03 percent.

A total of 45,883 girls earned the highest GPA-5 score, while in the case of boys the figure is 32,546.

This year, against 11,95,800 boys a total of 14,06,253 female students participated in the exams. Higher than their male counterparts, the number of girls examinees was 210,453.

The results of the JSC and JDC exams this year were released with a pass rate of 87.90 percent on Tuesday.
