The driver who knocks down Krishna Rani arrested

PBI personnel detained the fugitive driver Morshed who is the chief accused over the hit and run case of BIWTC officer Krishna Rani Chowdhury at Bangla Motor in the capital.
He, driver of Trust Paribahan, was arrested from Kazipara area in the capital on Sunday night.
On August 27 last, assistant manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Krishna Roy lost her leg as a bus ran her over in the capital’s Banglamotor area.
Krishna Roy, 52, was standing on the walkway to the east side after crossing road. Then, the bus (Dhaka Metro Ba 11-9145), which was coming from Kawran Bazar to go to Shahbagh, hit her on the footpath.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and later to National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, also known as Pangu Hospital, for better treatment.
