Dutch Queen arrives in city Tuesday

Dutch Queen Maxima arrives here on Tuesday on a four-day official visit to see various development activities on the ground.

Queen Máxima has served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA) since 2009.

As Special Advocate, she is a leading global voice on advancing universal access to and responsible usage of affordable, effective and safe financial services.

She is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) by an Emirates flight at 5:20 pm.

Apart from visiting outside Dhaka, the Dutch Queen is likely to have a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The Dutch Queen is scheduled to leave Dhaka  on July 12.
