Madrasa student murder attempt case handed over to PBI

The sensational murder attempt case filed with Sonagazi thana in connection with recent arson attack on a female madrasa student has been handed over to the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).
Confirming the news, Sohel Rana, assistant inspector general (media) of Police said the case was handed over to PBI for further investigation on Wednesday.
The madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi was set on fire on April 6 allegedly for refusing to withdraw a case filed against Maulana Siraj Ud Doula, principal of Sonagazi Islamia Senior Fazil Madrasa, Feni for sexually harassing her.
