50-year-old man held in Khulna for ‘raping’ young girl

Police arrested a 50-year-old man at Rayermahal Paschimpara in the city on Sunday night reportedly for raping a young girl.
Abdul Hasan Gazi was picked up after a case was filed against him with Aranghata Police Station by the victim’s mother, said its officer-in-charge Rezaul Karim.
He said Hasan Gazi stormed the victim’s house around 8:30pm on March 14 and violated the 25-year-old girl when her parents were away.
