Woman burned dead in Panchagarh

A woman, who suffered burn injuries after her sharee caught fire at Hagurajot village in Tetulia upazila on Tuesday, succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday morning.

The deceased is Asma Khatun, 55, wife of Abdur Sattar of the village.

Local union parishad chairman Fazlur Rahman said the accident occurred while she was cooking at night and was given treatment at home.

She succumbed to her wounds in the morning , he said.
