Cumilla road crash kills 2 women

Two women were killed in a road accident at Nazirabazar in Cumilla's Burichang upazila on Dhaka-Chattogram highway on Wednesday night.
The victims were Farhana Begum, wife of Ashraful Alam of Burichang upazila, and their daughter Kaniz Kanchan.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Moinamoti police station, Mahbubur Rahman, said the accident took place when a microbus hit them while they were crossing the road, leaving them seriously injured.
They were taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Cumilla where physicians declared them dead, the OC added.
