Control terrorism and militancy: PM to DCs

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday said deputy commissioners (DCs) to control terrorism and militancy from country.
The Prime Minister said the conference of the DCs are very effective to communicate with grass-roots people.
She urged DCs to protect general people so that they can not be harassed.
She said DCs to identify the less rate of boys education than girls as now-a-days boy students are less than girls in schools.
She made this discussion while inaugurating the three-day annual conference of the deputy commissioners (DCs) at her office in the morning.
She urged DCs that they should apply their thinking to develop our country.
She also said the DCs for taking initiative to reduce beggar. “ DCs initiated to reduce beggar. Now, our country almost beggar free,” the premier said.
The Prime Minister said “We want to build Bangladesh as socioeconomic development country. We have reduced mother and child mortality. We have reached in developing countries as we are going to finish two terms.”
“We have elevated developing countries from LDCs and we have to reach it to develop country. We have achieved 7.78% GDP. It is more than our target. We have controlled inflation,” the premier said.
She said “ Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said we have man power and fertile land. We will establish Bangladesh as poverty free country by the assets.”
“We always think how we will take our country go ahead. We want to reach Bangladesh as develop country in South Asia between 2021 and 2041,” she said.
