Thai Princess inaugurates Vetiver Grass Development Project in Chattogram

Thailand’s Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has inaugurated Thailand and Bangladesh collaborative Project on Vetiver Grass Development at Tiger Pass Area of Chattogram today (Wednesday).
She inaugurated the project titled “Bangladesh-Thailand Vetiver Grass Development Project to prevent hill erosion and landslide in Chattogram”.
Sirindhorn visited Mariali Government Primary School, Gazipur on Tuesday morning and met with autistic and special children at the Proyash Institute of Special Education in Dhaka Cantonment.
Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will also visit Ethnological Museum in Chattogram today.
The Princess also met with Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury at Sech Bhaban in the capital in the morning.
She held talks with Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Monday night.
The Princes is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the PMO on Thursday morning.
Earlier, she arrived in Dhaka on Monday on a four-day royal visit to Bangladesh.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam received her at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on her arrival.
On the first day, she visited Liberation War Museum in the city and took a tour of different galleries of the Museum.
She is leading an 11-member high profile Thai government delegation in connection with philanthropy projects.
