4 female workers killed in Kushtia road accident

Four female workers were killed and three others injured in a road accident at Bottoil area on Kushtia-Jhenidah highway this morning.

The identity of the dead could be known immediately.

Police said the accident occurred at 5:45 am when a human hauler, locally called Nosimon, carrying the 7 female workers collided head on in the area with a truck from opposite direction killing a woman on the spot. 

Six critically injured labourers were admitted to Kushtia General Hospital by the locals where 3 others succumbed to their injuries.

The other 3 critically injured female workers are being treated in the hospital, police added.
