President mourns death of Khaleda Ekram

President Abdul Hamid has expressed deep shock at the death of Prof Dr Khaleda Ekram, Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). 

In a condolence message, the President prayed for the eternal peace of her departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the members of his bereaved family.

Khaleda Ekram who had been suffering from cancer died early this morning at a hospital in Bangkok.
