Speaker returns home from Russia

Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad and Chairperson of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury returned home from Russia at 20 may.
During the visit, she joined the 44th conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of The Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) at Tavricheskiy Palace in Saint Petersburg, said a release.
She also met with Speaker of Russian Federation and Chairperson of IPA CIS Valentina Matviyenko.
Parliament Secretary Dr Abdur Rab Hawlader, among other, received her at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka.
