Bangladesh confirms 636 new corona cases, 8 deaths

Bangladesh recorded eight more COVID-19 deaths over a 24-hour period, taking the body count to 214.
In the 24 hours to Saturday morning, the number of officially confirmed cases of coronavirus increased by 636 to 13,770.
Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana, Additional Director-General of the Health Services Directorate (DGHS), disclosed the details in the regular online health newsletter held on Saturday afternoon at the Management Information System (MIS).
Several coronavirus research laboratories around the country have screened 5,465 samples in the last 24 hours, she said.
