Couple commits ‘suicide’ in Jahsore

A couple reportedly hanged themselves on Friday at Gopsono village in Jashore district's Keshabpur upazila with a single cord.
The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Shamim, and 24-year-old Renuka Begum, his aunt, who had a three year-old son.
Neighbors said the family fought severe poverty.
Keshabpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jasim Uddin said the bodies have been sent to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
