Coronavirus death toll in Bangladesh has risen to 75

The coronavirus death toll in Bangladesh has risen to 75 after 15 more fatalities were registered on Friday at 2:30pm in the last 24 hours, health minister said.
This is the largest number of deaths in the world due to Covid-19 during a day since the virus was first identified on Mar 8 in Bangladesh.
Another 266 people tested positive for the virus, taking the infection count to 1838, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said on Friday afternoon, during an online briefing.
The recovery count reached 58, as the last 24 hours saw nine more patients recover.
A total of 2,190 samples were checked in the last 24 hours.
