Another girl ‘raped’ at Banani hotel

Another girl has allegedly been raped at a hotel in the city’s Banani area.

The victim filed a case against the allege rapist, Kushan Omar Sufi, with Banani Police Station on December 10, said Abdul Matin, Inspector (Investigation) of the police station on Monday.

According the case statement, the victim and Kushan had been in an affair for one and half years.

Kushan took the girl to ‘Sweet Dream Hotel’ in Banani and violated her with a promise to marry her.

He, however, refused to marry her later.

Following the refusal, the girl filed the case under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, Matin added.

Police also sent the girl to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for medical test, he said.
